Bespoke, or standard design, supply and integration.

As Vision System Integrators EcoVision can provide either a bespoke, or standard "off the shelf" vision solution for you. We will talk through the different options open to you, with the associated benefits and costs, to arrive a design that will do exactly what you want. We then draw up a specification for your approval, and if it meets your needs we will begin the design process. The system will be fully tested prior to shipment and installation.

Standard, "Off the Shelf", or our own range of Vision Processors.

We would typically use standard commercially available Vision Processors unless your application requires something out of the ordinary.
EcoVision Ltd has developed two new Vision Processing Units primarily for use with Dalsa Sherlock software and up to 6 GigE cameras.
Drawing on thirty years of experience installing hundreds of vision systems at customer facilities worldwide, we have incorporated many timesaving, money saving, energy saving and space saving features into the Cirrus and Stratus platforms.
Main Features:
Low Power Consumption:
Even when driven hard, the units consume just 25 - 35 Watts. Helping to reduce resource use.

Small Footprint:
Space saving at just 187mm X 111mm X 60mm (excluding DIN mount) With optional VESA mount.

On-Board I.O.:
19 Input / Output lines. (9 input, 10 output) removing the need for external IO devices saving space and cost.
Fast Processors:  -  Both units utilise Intel Core i7 CPUs running up to 3.5GHz.

Industry Standard Supply Voltage:
The units run on 22 – 28 Vdc supply.

Auto Soft Shutdown:
If the supply to the units is cut, the on-board power reserve supports an automatic graceful shutdown. So there is no need for a UPS supply, thus reducing both the number of devices in the cabinet, and the cost to the end user.

Connectivity:
The units have 2 x USB 3.0,  2 x USB 2.0, 1 x RS-232 and 1 x HDMI <  (1920 x 1080).

OS Choice:
The units run either Win10 Pro, or Win10 IoT Enterprise 2019 LTSC or Linux

Hard Drive Size Choice:
Cirrus has 256GB and Stratus has 512GB as standard, but either unit can be supplied with an
Industrial 1TB SSD.  So no need to pay for storage you do not need.

Ethernet Ports:
The Cirrus has 4 Intel I211-AT GigE ports and the Stratus has 6 Intel I211-AT GigE ports.

Software Development

EcoVision develop vision solutions using a number of vision software platforms. Typically we would use Sherlock software from Teldyne Dalsa, but for specialised applications or full machine learning A.I. systems we would develop in either Python or C++.
Our systems are typically supplied with a bespoke user interface developed in Visual Basic.

Support, both on-site and remote.

EcoVision offer support on all of our systems post installation as a matter of course.
Remote access is usually available on our systems, and we’re happy to log-in and take a look rather than using a tank of fuel in the car, but we will of course attend site if that is what is required.
We offer on-going support through a range of support contracts.

Training packages.

EcoVision can offer a range of training courses to best suit your installation. From a simple production floor walkthrough of the system taking a few hours, to fully structured training room courses running over a number of days.
